U.N. Invading Your Home

U.N. Invading Your Home

Look out! U.N. now invading your home

Warning says this is coming even over owner’s objections

By Kevin DeAnna

Brian Sussman, author of “Eco-Tyranny: How the Left’s Green Agenda will Dismantle America,” is warning that the federal government and the United Nations are teaming up to control energy usage in American homes.

Sussman, who also wrote the blockbuster “Climategate,” says the move could lead to citizens losing the freedom even to run their appliances as they wish.

The first step in the plan is the installation of “smart meters,” which are being introduced by power utilities nationwide. Unlike traditional spinning wheel electric meters, smart meters allow the power utilities to measure energy usage minute by minute.

The Federal Energy Act of 2005, signed by George W. Bush, mandated that power utilities offer “each of its customer classes … a time-based rate schedule under which the rate charged by the electric utility varies during different time periods.”

However, power utilities have begun pushing the installation of smart meters even without a customer’s request. As Sussman documents in “Climategate,” the energy company PG&E pushed the new meters on customers by saying that it would allow the company to collect data “without setting foot on your property and interrupting your schedule.”

The utility did not mention that the innovation would potentially lead to increased prices during peak hours and detailed tracking of each home’s energy usage, “Climategate” reveals.

More importantly, some utilities have begun installing the smart meters over the objections of customers, leading to several legal battles.

While some state courts have ruled that customers should be allowed to opt-out, others have allowed utilities to force consumers to accept the more invasive smart meters.

Nor does the new technology end with increased prices. Sussman reports that the Energy Act of 2005 also permitted the construction of the SmartGrid, “a national interest transmission corridor designated by the [Energy] Secretary.”

As documented in “Climategate” with a memo from the Congressional Research Service, the purpose of the SmartGrid is to track “information from a customer’s meter in two directions: both inside the house to thermostats and appliances and other devices, and back to the utility.”

As mentioned in the congressional brief, the SmartGrid will also include the Programmable Communication Thermostat and the Home Area Network. The two technologies will allow utility companies to shut off appliances remotely.

The “improvements” were generally not implemented because of cost considerations, but the federal government stepped in to “solve” the problem, Sussman argues.

In the 2009 stimulus bill, the federal government authorized $16.8 billion in direct spending by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency, an additional $4.5 billion to upgrade to the nation’s grid and at least $2.8 billion for installing broadband.

The 2009 American Clean Energy and Security Act also contained federally mandated energy-efficient building regulations that supersede all local and state codes. The law will be enforced by federal regulators funded by energy taxes and $25 million from the Department of Energy “to provide necessary enforcement of a national efficiency building code.”

All of this is being done at the behest of the United Nations and its Agenda 21.

As Sussman documents in “Eco-Tyranny,” Agenda 21 is a global effort by international elites to deliberately raise energy prices and change consumption patterns.

It states, “Achieving the goals of environmental quality and sustainable development will require… changes in consumption patterns. Governments themselves [can] also play a role in [determining] consumption… and can have a considerable influence on both corporate decisions and public perceptions.”

As part of the effort to “determine consumption,” Agenda 21 mandated “Demand Response Technology,” or the SmartGrid.

Sussman explained in an exclusive interview with WND , “This is critically important because one of the main objectives of Agenda 21 is to lessen the ‘carbon footprint’ of individual consumers. By tying in a federally mandated SmartGrid that can track every person’s energy usage to a global agenda of reduced consumption, Americans will have even lost the right even watch the television or do the laundry when they want.”

Thomas Fanning, the United Nations Promoter, Now on FED Reserve Bank Board

Thomas Fanning known for teaming up with population control whack-job Ted Turner to waste tax dollars in another solar scam  is now on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.  The corrupt continue to be promoted up in power as they comply with the United Nations Plans for Sustainable Development and the Kyoto Protocols.  Thomas Fanning CEO of Southern Company the parent company of Mississippi Power is involved in their own scams.

Southern Co. (SO) Chief Executive Thomas Fanning has been appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the company said Monday.

Fanning will serve the remainder of a term that began Jan. 1, 2010, and runs through Dec. 31 of this year.

Fanning is a Class C director, appointed by the Fed’s board of governors in Washington to represent commerce, industry, agriculture, labor or consumers.

Southern Co. received federal approval earlier this month to build the first new U.S. nuclear power plant in decades.

The company plans to build two new reactors at the Vogtle site in Georgia near the South Carolina border and is waiting for the Department of Energy to close on an $8.3 billion loan guarantee after the company received a license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission earlier this month.

Southern’s Georgia utility has estimated the project will cost more than $6 billion, to be split among the project’s owners. Southern, which will own 46% of the new reactors, expects to pay $2.2 billion.

Oglethorpe Power, MEAG Power, and Dalton Utilities will own the rest of the project.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said earlier this month that he expected Southern to obtain the loan guarantee after the company got its construction and operating license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Ohio earthquake has brought more uncertainty to the Mississippi CO2 sequestration, the underground storage of CO2. When will the public demand answers and action.   Keep in mind that CO2 sequestration was initially developed as a result of United Nations meetings, when it was thought that CO2 was a poisonous gas that needed to be contained to prevent the end  of Earth and all its inhabitants due to global warming cooking us all.  We now know that the science behind the whack-o global warming scare was falsified  and a new group of independent scientist with credibility have demonstrated just the opposite. HERE  THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING CAUSED BY MAN.

Case studies, theory, regulation, and special considerations regarding the disposal of carbon
dioxide (CO2) into deep saline aquifers were investigated to assess the potential for induced
seismic activity. Formations capable of accepting large volumes of CO2 make deep well injection
of CO2 an attractive option. While seismic implications must be considered for injection
facilities, induced seismic activity may be prevented through proper siting, installation, operation,
and monitoring. Instances of induced seismic activity have been documented at hazardous waste
disposal wells, oil fields, and other sites. Induced seismic activity usually occurs along
previously faulted rocks and may be investigated by analyzing the stress conditions at depth.
Seismic events are unlikely to occur due to injection in porous rocks unless very high injection
pressures cause hydraulic fracturing. Injection wells in the United States are regulated through
the Underground Injection Control (UIC) program. UIC guidance requires an injection facility to
perform extensive characterization, testing, and monitoring. Special considerations related to the
properties of CO2 may have seismic ramifications to a deep well injection facility. Supercritical
CO2 liquid is less dense than water and may cause density-driven stress conditions at depth or
interact with formation water and rocks, causing a reduction in permeability and pressure buildup
leading to seismic activity. Structural compatibility, historical seismic activity, cases of seismic
activity triggered by deep well injection, and formation capacity were considered in evaluating
the regional seismic suitability in the United States. Regions in the central, midwestern, and
southeastern United States appear best suited for deep well injection. In Ohio, substantial deep
well injection at a waste disposal facility has not caused seismic events in a seismically active
area. Current technology provides effective tools for investigating and preventing induced
seismic activity. More research is recommended on developing site selection criteria and
operational constraints for CO2 storage sites near zones of seismic concerns.

World Opinion Is Changing and Reason is Here to STAY

Canada has pulled out of the 1997 anti-global warming Kyoto protocol, saying the treaty is ‘not working’. The departure comes a day after further climate talks in South Africa led to a new agreement, which is set to replace Kyoto by 2015. Piers Corbyn, the founder of the Weather Action Foundation, hopes Canada withdrawal will lead to the collapse of “useless” Kyoto protocol.

Mississippi Power & Southern Company’s FRAUD on Local Radio

I bet this topic will NOT be brought up in Mississippi Supreme court since the Sierra Club is a Non-Government Agency for the United Nations.   My understanding is the Sierra Club is a tool used to put laws into place by bringing litigation to UN connected programs and then settling or causing  decisions to be placed into law moving the Agenda of the UN forward.  We will see.  If they really cared they would demand to have the CO2 controversy proven in court to settle the science.

Mississippi Power‘s CO2 Capturing Lignite Coal Plant in Kemper County is based on FRAUDULENT SCIENCE. My favorite Gulf Coast Morning Radio Show host Kipp Greggory, interviewed former NASA scientist and White House Adviser, John L Casey, Author of COLD SUN. This is a portion of the exchange.
The Space and Science Research Corporation, (SSRC) is an independent scientific research organization in Orlando, Florida, USA. It has become the leading research organization in the United States on the subject of the science and planning for the next climate change to a long lasting cold era especially with regard to alerting the government, the media, and the people of the need to prepare for this new climate era.

Its staff of Supporting Researchers includes some of the world’s best in the fields of solar physics and geology including earthquake science and volcanism.

The SSRC and its President, Mr. John L. Casey, have an established record of accuracy in climate change predictions using the Relational Cycle Theory or RC Theory of climate change, a theory based on solar cycles as the main drivers behind the Earth’s variations in climate.
The Mission of the SSRC Is: To provide an independent un-biased resource for the government, media, corporations, and the people on important areas of scientific research and engineering, especially the science behind the next climate change and measures that can be taken to prepare for it.

EPA’s Estimates H.R. 2545 will Increase Electricity Rates by 300%

Texans will pay a price for cap and trade

The proposed climate change legislation, intended to reduce carbon dioxide emissions over the next 40 years, will substantially raise electricity bills. An analysis recently released by ERCOT, the electric grid operator for most of Texas, joins other reports from around the country that project significant job losses and dramatic increases in the cost of electricity if this legislation is enacted.

About 50 percent of all electric generation in America comes from burning coal and about 20 percent comes from natural gas. And, even though Texas has more wind generation than any other state (and all but a handful of other countries), we still burn fossil fuels to generate the vast majority of our electricity.

What is the justification put forward by the bill’s proponents, including President Barack Obama, for destroying jobs and dramatically increasing your electric bill? An attempt, based upon computer models with no guarantee of success, to prevent the Earth’s temperature from rising a couple degrees by the year 2100. (In fact, one study projects that at best this proposed legislation reduces the already projected rise in temperatures by only 9/100ths of one degree in 2050.)

This is almost the equivalent of eating only tofu and water for the rest of your life in order to lose a pound or two. It’s no wonder that the director of the Texas Bureau of Economic Geology called a recent finding by the Environmental Protection Agency that carbon dioxide is a pollutant “absurd.” And, while it is certainly hot now, does anyone in Washington know that back on May 17, in Amarillo, the temperature was 43 degrees — close to the record low set back in 1945?

U.S. Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Ed Markey, D-Mass., have drafted a bill — H.R. 2545, entitled the “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009” — that is intended to reduce CO2 emissions 3 percent below 2005 levels by 2012, and increasing thereafter to reductions of 83 percent below 2005 levels by 2050.

This bill, recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, was posted for discussion on April 1, but formally introduced only after six weeks of back room wheeling and dealing and substantial arm twisting of opposed members. H.R. 2545 has emission reduction targets that are more aggressive than those found in the Lieberman-Warner bill (S. 2191) that was briefly debated in the last session of Congress. Many reports have concluded that Lieberman-Warner would cause massive job losses in many parts of the country and result in large increases in the price of electricity.

For example, EPA’s analysis of this bill estimated the possibility, under certain circumstances, of an almost 300 percent increase in electricity rates and trillions in lost productivity by 2050. EPA also highlighted the fact that those areas of the country with: 1) long driving distances; 2) large demands for residential air conditioning; and 3) an electric generation portfolio heavily reliant upon fossil fuel, would be negatively affected the most. That pretty much describes Texas — 835 miles from one end of the state to the other, really hot summers and more than 80 percent of our electricity comes from burning fossil fuels. We are the state that will suffer the most under this proposed climate change legislation.

An analysis by the National Association of Manufacturers found that job losses in Texas would be from 250,000 to 330,000 in 2030, and that electricity prices would increase between 100 and 145 percent.

Another report, by the Western Business Roundtable, looked at the economic destruction likely to be caused by climate change legislation and found that five Western states would lose more than 600,000 jobs and suffer $220 billion in economic loss, all in an attempt to produce a future temperature benefit in the year 2100 of a fraction of one degree Celsius.

A third study recently found that more than 95 percent of the cost of proposed climate change legislation would be paid for by electric consumers living outside of the Pacific coast and New England. In other words, those of us living in “fly-over country” will pay almost the entire costs of climate change legislation. It’s no wonder that the sponsors of this proposed legislation, who are from California and Massachusetts, think this is good legislation — their constituents won’t have to pay for it, but those of us living between the coasts will.

ERCOT’s recent report tells the story. In order to meet the emission reduction goals in the Waxman-Markey legislation, carbon allowance costs must rise to about $50 per ton (this is consistent with a recent study done by the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change, which projects CO2 prices in 2015 of between $48 and $67 per ton). This level of allowance costs would result in an increase in wholesale power costs in 2013 of approximately $10 billion. That translates into an increase in the average customer’s monthly bill of $27. During a time of economic recession, increasing the electricity bill of the average Texan by almost 25 percent per month is foolishness. (There is one note of good news in the ERCOT study — the 18 gigawatts of wind generation that we are putting in Texas is already reducing carbon emissions and will decrease the cost of climate change legislation for our residents from $10 billion to $7 billion.)

Texans and others living in Middle America must engage in this debate. Waxman and Markey have already passed this bill out of the U.S. House. Call and/or write your senator or representative and tell them how you feel about this legislation that is likely to destroy jobs and increase your electricity bills — all in pursuit of speculative results.

Our Texas leaders have already taken steps to use more renewable energy resources, increase our energy efficiency goals, and clean up the air. We don’t need any help from Washington.
